Counselling
Life can be a challenge even at the best of times, difficulties arising can leave us feeling stressed, anxious, depressed, fed up and unable to cope.
Overwhelming thoughts and feelings can happen to us all at any point in our lives and it helps to talk them through, often we may feel unable or unwilling to discuss these personal issues with those close to us, and here is where counselling can help.
How can I help?
I offer a safe non-judgemental space for you to explore what is troubling you. We can talk through painful or uncomfortable thoughts and feelings in depth, to allow you to make sense of difficulties, helping you to learn new ways to cope, make positive changes, and rediscover life’s possibilities and potentials.
Counselling is not just for when you’re in crisis, it can help in all aspects of your life too, and can give you the tools to prepare for those challenges in advance so you are able to take them in your stride.
It is not a quick fix and may be difficult at times, we will work together at your pace to unravel your thoughts, feelings and beliefs to help you achieve some clarity and find your way forward in a way that is right for you.
